Hank's Story
AAE welcomed six (geldings) from the Hallelujah Horses herd in 2017. The Hallelujah Horses are a group of 907 horses seized from the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros (ISPMB, formerly located in South Dakota) in late 2016.
These handsome geldings came together from South Dakota from a family band. During their time at AAE, it has become very evident that they are a closely connected group. Therefore, AAE has kept the family together as sanctuary resident horses.
