These two retired senior geldings need help. There is a pending trustee sale on the property where they are living (in Morgan Hill), and they have no place to go. They have lived their lives together and need to be placed together.
Colty is a sorrel Arabian, and Bandit is a black Morgan. They are 30 years old. Both are barefoot. They have NOT BEEN neglected NOR abused, and have no behavioral issues. They are extremely gentle, like a couple of big puppy dogs! They come when called, do well with vet and farrier, and they have very safe ground manners. No bite, crib, or kick. They are hardy stock, and have been pasture horses all their lives.
Bandit is missing one eye, but gets along just fine in the hilly and wooded pasture. His eye was surgically removed, and an artificial eye was inserted for contour purposes, and the eyelid was sutured and grown closed. He has no special needs or requirements. He can be used for light riding (English).
Colty has early signs of Cushings. He is on the natural herb – Chasetree berry – and has a huge supply of the powder in a freezer for him.
