Story: Carson arrived with his mom (Takela) from a Nevada feedlot on June 21, 2009. They were both very underweight and physically/emotionally depressed.
He’s certainly a looker, and would be an excellent pick for the performance rider looking for a well-built touch of “pretty” in the barn. Trainer Notes: Carson is doing well under halter. He leads well, is easy to catch in the field and will pick up all four feet for cleaning. He is learning to tie and has been desensitized with all the grooming tools and easily accepts brushing and hoof trimming. He has a lot of “go” and is very entertaining to watch gallop around the pasture, easily performing flying changes and has a very balanced stop for such a young colt.
