Story: Rinaldo and two of his buddies arrived from the Nevada feedlot on September 30, 2009. After a tough roundup by their rancher, Rinaldo and his buddies were orphaned at the feedlot when they were stripped from their moms who were shipped to slaughter. Rinaldo is from a Doc Bar sire and Thoroughbred dam.
Trainer Notes: Rinaldo is a very sweet and curious colt. He has learned to accept halter and lead, and to give all four feet. He will stand for grooming and follow in a straight line, and is learning the groundwork basics including backing, yielding forehand & hind, and will be taught to stand tied. He is a personable colt with a good size and would be an ideal performance horse candidate!
Health: Rinaldo was pretty banged up during round-up prior to transport to the feedlot, but he is now healed 100% and ready for his permanent home! Issues: None. Adoption Fee: $450. Available after 2/1/2010. Will be vet checked, gelded, and current on vaccines, worming, dental and hoof care.
