| Story: Chico is a cute 25+, 14H, paint gelding that arrived at AAE February 7, 2010 and is being fostered by an AAE volunteer. According to his former owner, he is a sound horse. He has never had any health problem that the owner knows of, and she has had him since he was 7. He is a beginner to intermediate ride. He has been in a pony club and is good in the ring and really good on the trail. He also has good ground manners.Trainer Notes: More to come after further evaluation. Health: Based on information from his former owner, Chico is in very good health, and he is up to date with hoof care. AAE’s equine dentist provided much needed dental care for Chico on February 11, 2010. Chico is missing several teeth, and he will need supplemental feed (e.g. pellets) here forward. He is thin, likely due to difficulties with chewing prior to dental work. Issues: None known. Adoption Fee: TBD upon further evaluation of dental condition and handling/riding.
