| Story: Sugar was very skinny when she was rescued from a Nevada feedlot and had no handling prior to arriving at the rescue.
Trainer Notes: She has been vaccinated eastern/western, flu, tentanus but not rabies and has had her hooves trimmed twice, Sugar is very willing to let you work on her hooves and actually willing to let you work on any part of her body, but is ticklish about her ears and am still working on hands around her mouth although she will be easy to bridle when the time comes because she will lower her head and let you open her mouth. She faces you when you approach; yields hindquarters and will yield frontquarters and is easy to catch. She ties and loves being groomed, leads, and has been desensitized, is ok with ropes around her legs, tummy and flank area and tail, she lounges with ease on lead line and without, sidepasses and is responsive to the “sending exercise” and knows voice commands, she has never once offered to pin her ears back, bite, kick or show any negative personality signs toward people or other horses she is always eager to please and picks up new lessons quickly and remembers. She is low in the herd pecking order. Sugar is very sweet and easy to love, with flashy tobiano color and excellent conformation to match! Health: Good! Sugar was exposed to stallions on the feedlot and could be pregnant. Issues: None known. Adoption Fee: $750 *will increase as training increases.
