| Story: Sugar was very thin when she was rescued from a Nevada feedlot and had no apparent handling prior to arriving at the rescue.Trainer Notes: Sugar is very willing to let you work on her hooves and any part of her body, but is ticklish about her ears. Still working on handling around her mouth, although she will be easy to bridle when the time comes because she will lower her head and let you open her mouth. She faces you when you approach; yields hindquarters and frontquarters, and she’s is easy to catch. She ties and loves being groomed; she leads, and has been desensitized with ropes around her legs, tummy, flank area, and tail; she lunges with ease on line and without; she sidepasses; she is responsive to the “sending exercise” and knows voice commands; she has never offered to pin her ears, bite, kick or show any negative postures toward people or other horses. Sugar is always eager to please, picks up new lessons quickly, and remembers. She is low in the herd pecking order. Sugar is very sweet and easy to love, with flashy color and excellent conformation to match!
