Story: Lexi arrived from the NV feedlot on October 12, 2009.
Trainer Notes: Very pretty and soft mare, easy to catch and enjoys grooming and attention. Lexi is very people oriented, easy to bridle and saddle and has a good riding foundation. She direct reins (does not know how to neck rein yet) and moves off leg pressure. She has a very smooth trot, stops and backs up readily, and can be a bit lazy in the round pen requiring several cues for upward transitions. She yields hindquarter & shoulder well, and backs up with light pressure on the halter or by wiggling the lead. Lexi still needs practice staying out of personal space as she will walk forward into the handler and occassionally will toss her head when asked to back from the ground while bridled.
