Dinero is a quarter horse 32 years young. His mom and their dog were killed in an auto accident in January 2012, and she was the only one that had cared for him. Dinero is still very robust and filled out. He is still playful. He is not skittish, he is very calm and accepting of all animals and people. He has been treated by a massage therapist the last 4-5 years due to a reaction he had to the West Nile vaccine. His left hindquarter had some neurological damage. Because of him mom’s passion for animals and Dinero in particular, she got information on herbs and what to do. Then she sought massage therapy. The massage therapist did myofascial release and acupressure treatment, and he has improved to the point she was wanting to let her grand nieces and nephews ride him. He has been seen running and “feeling” his oats at times. Dr. Garfinkel is his veterinarian. The people feeding him now are not wanting to do this long term and there is an urgency to find him a home.
