Story: Jewel arrived with Mom, Willow, from a Nevada feedlot on May 28, 2011. Jewel and Mom were in surprisingly decent condition, except Mom’s hooves and teeth showed extended neglect. Her toes were very long with sizable cracks and flares. Her teeth were in poor condition, as clumps of partially chewed hay fell from her mouth. Jewel is an elegant, athletic and sporty looking foal with an amazing and most inquisitive personality. What a gorgeous, stunning girl!!! Trainer Notes: Jewel was untouchable when she arrived, but with her curiousity and confidence, it wasn’t long before she befriended our volunteers . She’s learning groundwork basics, and she loves attention/grooming. She’s gone for a few trailer rides and is learning with the farrier. Jewel is a gorgeous filly with incredible movement.
Health: Good.
