Story: LJ was abandoned when his owners sold their property as part of a divorce proceeding.  The realtor contacted a neighbor to remove Little John and his pasture mate.  The neighbor discovered LJ was developing laminitis from all the grass turnout, and had a vet evaluate his condition.  With some TLC and restricted diet he has bounced back to health.   His pasture mate (a full size horse) was adopted by the neighbor and little john was adopted through the rescue.
