Horsemanship Parties for Any Occasion!

Pony Parties, Birthday Parties, Bridal Showers, Retreats, Mom’s Day Off, Family Gatherings, Scouts, Club, Church

Three party locations:  Pilot Hill, Shingle Springs, and El Dorado Hills

Enchanted April Inn Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful equestrian estate in Pilot Hill. The gorgeous landscape is set on a hillside with a vineyard, a pond, and the enchanting inn overlooking a beautiful horse facility. The party area is set beside an incredible barn with a large riding arena, and a BBQ/picnic area under a grand old oak tree.  Enchanted April has been a foster facility for AAE’s rescue horses.  Many of our youngsters have recuperated and learned to love people thanks to the special care of Elke, Enchanted April’s wonderful host.  Enchanted April is located approximately 12 miles north of Highway 50 (El Dorado Hills Blvd. exit).

Terris Oak Ranch is a quiet family boarding facility in Shingle Springs.  The property is home to a historic building that was converted to a rustic barn.  The ranch includes an arena and round pen, surrounded by paddocks for boarded horses.  Several of AAE’s horses were fostered at TOR, where our riding program took form in 2010.  Students helped exercise and advance our riding horses via the riding program.  TOR is located approximately 4 miles south of Highway 50 (South Shingle Springs exit).

All About Equine Animal Rescue, Inc’s. main facility is located in El Dorado Hills on a small family ranchette.  AAE usually houses about 25 horses.  We have a round pen and a new arena installed summer of 2011.  AAE is also home to four goats, three sheep, and several chickens.  Limited dates are available at the rescue.  AAE is located approximately 6 miles north of Highway 50.

Birthday Parties for kids ages 4-14 :

Plan your party now and prepare for two hours of fun!

The first 90-minutes includes a presentation of basic horsemanship skills (basic handling, grooming, and safety) and a hands-on experience, ending with a short horseback riding lesson with 2 to 3 of AAE’s wonderful rescue horses, followed by a select party game or craft.

The last 30-minutes, we turn the party over to you in the picnic area for celebrating the guest of honor. Note: you supply the cake, snacks, and beverages.

All rides are hand-led for added safety precautions and fun. Young children may need an additional adult or parent to walk alongside. Riding helmets are provided by AAE, but riders should wear jeans and boots (or leather shoes).

The birthday guest of honor will receive a special gift from AAE.

Cost of party is $250 for up to 10 children (ages 4 to 14), and each additional child is $20.  We have a maximum capacity 20 children.

AAE is an all volunteer 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization (# 27-0384523), and all proceeds from your party will directly benefit the care and maintenance of our horses (e.g. hay and feed costs, veterinary costs, transport, etc.).  Qualified donations are tax deductible. Check with your tax professional.

If the birthday party format does not suit your needs, email us to see if we can plan a custom party.
