| Story: Clayton was orphaned on the feedlot, likely when his mom was shipped off to slaughter. He was adopted on the feedlot by new mom (Sierra) and new brother (Clayton). They arrived from the Nevada feedlot on July 10, 2009. He was underweight, physically/emotionally depleted, and in very poor shape. He had a large open wound over his rear fetlock joint and a corneal ulcer. He also has an umbilical hernia that may need surgical repair.
