Garage Sale
Join us in Cameron Park on May 4th for a huge Garage Sale to benefit the rescue. You'll find furniture, children's clothing, household goods, and other assorted items to shop. There will even be a guest appearance from one of our farm critters to keep the kids occupied while you browse! Hours are 8:00am-3:30pm. New Volunteer Orientation
If you are interested in volunteering with AAE, we have a multitude of needs, including basic horse care, facility maintenance, training (experienced only), fundraising, outreach, event support, grant writing, and more. To work with the horses, we ask that you participate in our New Volunteer Orientation and Basic Safety class. The first part of the class includes a brief introduction to AAE, a tour of the facility, a visit with the horses, and an overview of AAE’s barn rules/policies. The second part covers basic safety practices and handling methods used at AAE. The intent is to ensure the horses are handled safely and consistently by all volunteers, no matter their backgrounds. There is a $35 fee for the class, and it is typically offered every other weekend. If interested, please email (volunteer@allaboutequine.org) with a brief description of your volunteer interests and describe any experience you have with horses.
