Cinco's Story

Cinco and his three siblings were found at just about one-week old with their stray mom, Birdie, who was scavenging for food along the river next to a golf course behind the fifth hole, which is where he got his name. Mom was very thin, and all were covered in fleas.

During their time at AAE, the little family has received all the necessary care including vet exams, vaccines, flea removal, deworming and a healthy feeding schedule. With a healthy, well-fed mom, the puppies have been growing steadily and gaining weight as puppies should.

Cinco and his siblings have been spending lots of time with AAE volunteers to learn how to socialize with humans. Cinco has been the biggest puppy of the litter since day one. He is a rough and tumble guy who loves playing with his siblings, but is also the first one to lay down for a nap after he gets his energy out, often resting his head on your lap or the nearest blanket.

Cinco has received his first round of vaccines and is up to date with deworming. He will receive booster vaccines, a microchip, and neuter procedure before being ready for adoption.
