All About Equine Animal Rescue, Inc. (AAE) relies on the selfless giving of its donors to continue its mission. The generosity of our caring donors allows AAE to continue its successful rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming programs.  With high cost of hay and feed, along with medical, dental and trimming expenses, AAE easily spends more than $5,000 per month just in basic care alone.

The horses that find refuge here were being abused or neglected, abandoned, or sent to auction/slaughter.  AAE’s very important work to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome these horses relies on our horse-loving community.  Please help us continue to care for these horses.

​Your tax deductible donations, horse sponsorships, community grants, and volunteer efforts are greatly needed and appreciated. AAE offers several ways designed for you to help that meets your interests and capabilities.  Choose one that works for you.

AAE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (ID#27-0384523). Your donations qualify for Federal income tax deductions to the full extent of the law. Please discuss tax benefits with your tax professional. 

Give A One-Time Gift

  • General Gift ($ Any): Any amount helps and goes directly to the care of the animals!
  • Gift A Horse ($ Any): When you have a gift to give, give the gift of life.  Make a donation (in any amount) on behalf of a horse-loving friend or family member. You will receive an electronic “gift letter” with a photo of an AAE horse, acknowledging your gift on behalf of your recipient.
  • Remember A Horse ($ Any): To express your sympathy and to acknowledge the loss of a beloved equine friend, make a donation to the rescue in remembrance of the equine.

All About Equine is supported in large part by the generous donations of our horse-loving community.  Without your selfless giving, we could not continue our successful rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing programs. At any given time, AAE cares for approximately 50-60 horses. With the high prices of hay and feed, plus medical, dental and trimming expenses, we spend more than $7,500/month for basic care. It typically costs $150 per month

Consult with your estate planner and your accountant for ways to bequest a gift through provision in your estate plan, IRA, or pension plan documents.  There are other ways of supporting AAE while achieving tax benefits. Matching Gift Program

Does your company or organization offer a matching funds program?  If you're not sure, Personnel or H.R. Departments are typically the ones to ask or suggest this. 
 Besides monetary help, there are many other ways to benefit the horses in need:
  • Host A Fundraising Event.
  • Donate Gently Used (or new) Tack and Horse Equipment/Supplies.  
  • Donate Gently Used Items for resale. 
  • Recycle with Us.  AAE collects recyclable items such as aluminum cans, plastic, glass, auto/boat batteries, shoes, cell phones, computer components, and more. 
  • Donate Jewelry/Coins:  AAE works with a local jeweler and welcomes donations of jewelry and/or coins (gold, silver, platinum, and diamonds).
  • Host a Donation Box:  If you own or operate a business, we have donation boxes that can be displayed for collection of donations by your customers/clientele.

Donor-Advised Fund - Recommend a Grant

Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a giving account established at a public charity and allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive a tax deduction, and recommend grants from the fund over time.

DAFs can be established with advice from or with the help of your financial advisor, accountant or estate attorney. Local community foundations may also be able to assist with establishing a DAF. Learn more about DAFs here.

You may recommend a grant via your DAF to support AAE, a specific horse, or a specific project.
