Abilene and Laramie
Meet Abilene and Laramie. They are looking for a new home together. Here is what their owner wrote about them. "Both mares are 24 years old this summer. They are 1/2 sisters, never been apart. I just got vaccines, teeth floated, and Coggins tested. Soon to be dewormed again.
They are not rideable. Both have had rear leg injuries. And not much training but they are great on the ground and understand the manners expected of them. As I mentioned to you, one is a forever 2 year old (in her mind-border collie mentality) and the other is sedate like a calm golden retriever.
They really appreciate a shelter but Abilene is not good contained in small spaces. Too much energy.
My hopes and prayers are that they can stay together (a lot of separation anxiety) in a generous space, shelter, proper food and love & someone with horse sense."
Please contact AAE if you are interested in Abilene and Laramie.
