HEALING HORSES BARN PROJECT

Invest in Quality Care of Horses-In-Need

Picture
AAE has relocated to its new location in Pilot Hill, CA, and the next crucial phase of AAE's Capital Campaign supports the purchase and construction of AAE's new Healing Horses Barn (The Barn). The Barn will provide for comfort, protection, and quality care for new intakes while they rehabilitate from illness, injury, or surgery. The Barn will also provide improved housing for seniors and special needs horses, as well as being a safe space for pregnant mares to deliver their foals.

Donate to barn project
With immense gratitude, we are beyond excited to announce an anonymous Angel donor has funded our Healing Horses Barn. The barn kit has been ordered, and we should be constructing the new barn in Summer 2025! We are eagerly awaiting these next steps!!!
The next phase of our Capitol Campaign will be announced soon.

Can you help assure our most fragile horses won't need to endure another winter without adequate protection?

The need is urgent. An 8 stall mare motel currently houses AAE's special needs horses, but it does not provide adequate protection from the cold, wind, and wet conditions of winter nor the sun and heat of summer. Further, the foundation rests upon a challenging clay layer that holds water, maintains muddy conditions, and fails to provide solid, flat footing for horses recovering from hoof issues, leg injuries, and other ailments. The horses deserve better!

Donate and Invest in Quality Care for the Horses

Invest in AAE's long-term ability to provide quality care for our equine friends-in-need. Donate to our campaign for The Barn and you'll be investing in the crucial care of horses for years to come. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated!

Learn more about NAMING OPPORTUNITIES where your gift will make a lasting impact, and you can donate in honor of a person, beloved equine, family name, business, or organization. Thank you, Deb & Mike Lewis and Paws & Hooves Ranch Services for your very generous $15,000 donation.

Donations can be made with a credit card, Venmo, or PayPal using the "donate" button below or with a personal check sent to All About Equine Animal Rescue, Inc., 2201 Francisco Drive #140-174, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762.

The Healing Horses Barn will be similar to the drawings on this page. It will have eight stalls (six regular 12'x12' stalls, two 12'x16'
stalls for larger horses and pregnant mares/foals) and two open bay areas for vet/farrier visits and ongoing medical treatment.

Estimated costs for the Barn are nearly $250,000 and include permitting and engineering, the barn kit, concrete foundation, and kit installation, as well as plumbing and electrical. Overall cost has increased from original estimates obtained due to inflation and supply chain challenges.  Other accessories will be considered once built.
