All About Equine Animal Rescue (AAE) relies on the selfless giving of its donors to care for approximately 50 or more horses at any given time. The generosity of our donors allows AAE to continue successful rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming programs.  With the high cost of hay and feed, along with medical, dental and hoof care expenses, AAE easily spends more than $5,000 per month just in basic care alone.

The horses that find refuge here were being abused or neglected, abandoned, sent to auction/slaughter, or were at-risk in some way.  AAE’s very important work to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome these horses relies on our horse-loving community.  Please help us continue to care for these horses.

Our Sponsor a Horse program is a monthly donation program where funds are contributed in the name of a horse to help support the costs for care of a specific horse until a permanent home is found.  Horse sponsorships provide important ongoing funding that help keep our horses healthy and safe.

Sponsor An Event
AAE hosts our Annual Boots & Bling fundraiser.  We are always looking for sponsors to support the event, show community support, and help underwrite event costs.  
Donate an Auction Item
Our Annual Boots & Bling fundraiser includes live, silent, and dessert auctions.  We are always looking for items to include in the auctions.  AAE also hosts online auctions on our Facebook page for raising funds with donated items throughout the year.

Become A Foster
Interested in fostering a horse? Review Foster a Horse and consider the option of fostering one our horses. Certain expenses for the cost of care of the rescue horse incurred on behalf of the foster are considered a donation and tax deductible (to the limit permitted by law).

Donate Gently Used Tack
AAE receives a substantial amount of used tack donations.  In October of 2017, AAE opened a Used Tack Store in Shingle Springs, CA.  AAE volunteers operate the store.
