We are excited to announce the arrival of the littlest and cutest AAE herd member!
This filly's story actually started in June 2021 when we took in two reported pregnant mares as part of an animal control case involving multiple animals. After arrival, our vet Dr. Stolba came for exams and ultrasounds. One showed a foal, the other did not. Dr. Stolba estimated mom-to-be was three to four months along. That meant she was due to foal in February or March. (We haven’t shared much about the mares due to the sensitive nature of their circumstances.) Fast-forward to February 22, 2022 (2/22/22), and mama gave birth to a beautiful filly! This baby girl is mostly legs and one of the most adorable foals we have ever seen.

Baby girl is healthy and bonding well with mom, but one thing is still missing... a name! That's where we need your help!
