Meet Lefty. Lefty is a chestnut gelding currently at DreamCatcher Wild Horse and Burro Sanctuary. Here is the information they provided about him.

Age at a guess 10 or older But would need to have teeth looked at by someone who can age...
His left hind hoof is curled and over grown. He knows no different. I have trimmed it twice to take ties off and tidy it up... This (picture below) was taken last summer. We took a lot off it and some of the hoof wall that had curled under Not sure what he looks like at the moment . Extremely mobile with it and no issues looks 1 or 2 out of 10 lame when running about"
