Soloman came into AAE in July 2015. He is an older gentleman that was abandoned by his former owner at his boarding facility. This ol' guys teeth were in really poor condition, and he was not able to process the hay he was fed. A concerned boarder helped care for him until he was relinquished to AAE by the boarding facility. He was examined by Dr. Stolba of Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center, his hooves were trimmed, and he's been vaccinated and dewormed. He was apparently a former ranch horse, and he seems to be in fairly good condition; however, he won't be tested under saddle until he has gained some weight. As soon as he gains some weight and regains some confidence around his human friends, he will be available for adoption, likely as a companion horse, and possibly light riding (at least until he's rehabilitated and built up again).
